''Mitchell Van Morgan'' is a side-scrolling platformer video game originally for the Game Boy. It is Mitchell's very first videogame title in the Mitchell Van Morgan series and his very first video game made from THQ. This game is created by Nickelodeon (Japan) - the creator of the Mitchell Van Morgan series themselves along with NickelodeonTHQ and Tose Software. The story of the game begin on the lush, tropical city paradise of the city of Raleighopolis located in North Carolina (USA), Mitchell Van Morgan's animal friends begin disappearing one by one. When he discovers that the evil scientist, Dr. Marquessa, has been kidnapping them and converting them into robotic Andriods as part of a plot to collect all six of the fabled Power Stones, Mitchell and his best buddies Gavin, Martin, David and Nicholas decides it's up to him to save them, and embarks on a quest to free his friends and thwart the evil schemes of Marquessa. The gameplay features the same playthrough mainly based on Mega Man V, Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3Super Mario Land and Super Mario World. The objective in almost every level in Mitchell Van Morgan is to explore and find the end of throughout the levels. Certain levels require players to defeat bosses of every level to access the next world. The game's main hub is Raleighopolis, The North Carolinian city home of Mitchell and his pals which he can visit his place anytime he collects power stone or/ recover himself from a dangerous travelling much often. Ever since ''Mitchell Van Morgan'' makes multiple cameo appearances in the Nickelodeon 1998 Kids' Choice Awards ceremony as a favorite videogame nominee, He was proposed as a mascot for THQ and Nickelodeon, who both owned the rights for the videogame series in the 90's Nick Games era (way before his sibling franchise Tak and the Power of Juju did in 2003).
