This is the very first ministory of Nickelodeon's Mitchell Van Morgan series called ''The Legend of Mitchell & Gavin''. It was announced in July 4th 2020 by the Nickelodeon Comic-Con Team and it was released yesterday by Nickelodeon Animation Studios. It is a short adaption to the story of Nickelodeon's Mitchell Van Morgan series explaining the backstory and how Mitchell, Gavin, Martin, David, Nicholas, Carolyn & Jennifer began their adventures as heroes.

1st ever launch of a Nickelodeon linear channel available only on OTT

OIn Cannes, Tokyo, Japan, Viacom has announced the launch of a New Nickelodeon linear channel via 'over-the-top' (OTT) and the mobile platforms in Japan-the first time internationally it will make a Nickelodeon-branded subscription TV channel available only via streaming services.

The new channel will launch in the first quarter of 2018 on Japanese OTT platform dTV-Channel™ (an NTT DOCOMO, INC. service). The newly packaged subscription-based linear channel will offer a range of iconic Nickelodeon animation titles including Mitchell Van Morgan, SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora The Explorer and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

OThe rollout of the new Nickelodeon OTT channel builds on the sucess Viacom has enjoyed with MTV-branded OTT channels in Japan, having launched MTV HITS on AbemaTV and MTV MIX on Hulu Japan in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

In New York City on Aug 31, 2017 - Kids can interact with their favorite characters from Raleighopolis like never before as Nickelodeon unveils The Mitchell Van Morgan Challenge, part of the inaugural kid skills available now on the Amazon Echo and other Alexa-enabled devices. In The Mitchell Van Morgan Challenge memory game, kids will be transported into the center of the Mitchell Van Morgan series itself, where they will become a new freedom-fighting hero of Raleighopolis tasked with taking increasingly power to wipe out Marquessa's evil Marquessanik robot army and relaying to help those that matter to you including Mitchell, Gavin and much more.

Parents and their children can enable the skill by ''Alexa, start The Mitchell Van Morgan Challenge'' or using the Alexa app.

Amazon is also launching its own Storyline skill that features bedtime stories for kids ages 5 to 12. 

The Storytime content is free and dosen't require an Amazon Rapids or Audile subscription, though Audible does plan to contribute short stories in the future. ("Alexa, read me a bedtime story.")

''It is important for us to invest in new technologies that are of interest to kids like home assistants,'' said Matthew Evans, Nickelodeon Group's executive vice president of digital and new business, told by CNBC. ''It is a natural way for kids to interact with and navigate their world, and talking with and hearing their favorite characters is fun.''

Nickelodeon Comic-Con 2015 Panel Schedule Revealed



Nickelodeon has released their schedule for Comic-Con International: San Diego 2015 that includes panels, special events, and booth activities.

Nickelodeon will erect an enormous 1800 sq. foot booth (#4113) showcase their series: Pig Goat Banana Cricket, Harvey Beaks, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sanjay and Craig, SpongeBob SquarePants, Mitchell Van Morgan and more.

Fans that go to the visit booth can enjoy some fun stuff, like a voice recording room that will allow fans to add their own voice to scenes from their favorite Nick TV shows; a facial recognition booth where attendees can become their favorite characters; and autograph signings with Tom Kenny, Kel Mitchell and more.

Comic-Con is all about the panels, and Nickelodeon will have panels for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Turtle Power!, Mitchell Van Morgan – MVM!, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Sanjay and Craig.
